About Maluna
Why does a hobby gardener have to find out alone, for every plant, what to do and when? That question is where Maluna started: anyone looking after their own garden finds advice scattered across forums, magazines and websites, often unrelated to their location or the current season.
A question that became a tool
That frustration led to the idea of bringing this scattered information together in one place and linking it to the real state of your garden, instead of searching plant by plant. The idea has kept evolving since: first as a personal tool for my own garden, then as the basis of a garden assistant that looks at location, weather, season and care history together.
For you, this means Maluna grows with the experience of real gardens and stays close to the question of what your garden actually needs right now, rather than a general rule meant to fit every garden.

Origin and perspective
Maluna is built in Switzerland, with gardening conditions in Switzerland and its neighbouring countries in mind. This origin shapes which questions come first: hardiness in the Central European climate, seasonal jobs in your own garden, and the needs of people who look after their plants themselves rather than leaving them to professionals.
